Sherry,
At one time I had Patterson ancestors all over Ripley Co. However, those
names are not on any documentation I have and I do know for a fact that
there was another Patterson family in Ripley Co, completely unrelated to
mine, that had ancestors there during the late 1800's and early 1900's.
Take Care,
Matt Patterson

Subject: [MORIPLEY] How To Find 1925 obit ?
Hello List Members,
I have a copy of a death record stating "Oyeton Peterson" died on 06
Jan 1925 in Torch (cannot read the twp) Ripley Co, Mo.
It states he had only been in the area a little over a year, and that
he was married, wife named "Nola?"
I very much need to get a copy of his obit, so I can try to learn for
sure his wife's name and when/where they married, and if they had a daughter
named Ida at the time of his death.
Where would the nearest County Library / Historical Society /
Genealogical Society be, where I could ask for help locating this obit?
Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated,
Sherry Morell Shelts
