John Morris Jr. was born ca. 1775 in North Carolina. He was the son of John
Morris Sr. and Mary (surname
unknown). John Jr. married Alifare Holderness sometime prior to the year
1823. They moved from North
Carolina in the latter part of the 1820s and settled in the state of
Georgia. John a second time in Georgia and
was the father of thirteen known children. Descendants lived primarily in
Georgia and North Carolina.
