Hello Carol,
My William C. Morris was born in 1829 in McNairy County, Tennessee. On
the 1850 census of Randolph County, Arkansas he was 21 with wife
Josephine 22, In the 1860 census same county he is 30, Josephine 32,
Pamelia 8, Robert 6, Louisa 4, Martha 2, Thomas 1. In the 1870 and
census of the same county William is not listed, wife Josephine and
aforementioned children were living in the household of William Davis
for 4 month's. In the 1880 census Josephine was head of household with
her remaining children. We have assumed that William died in 1868 or
1869, he could have left his wife and children and moved to Indiana, how
old was your William C. in 1880?
