I am interested in knowing more about your Alice M. Morris, wife of
Ewell Lee Riddle. My Morris line connects in some way with the name
Riddle and Stone. My g-gftr was born in Wake County, NC about May 31,
1849 - Charles Hector Morris. He has ties to Iredell County, NC (early
1800's); also the Cheraws District in South Carolina (PeeDee River
area). Charles' parents -- George Morris and Lucy McIntosh Morris --
were supposedly killed during the Civil War which would make me wonder
who helped raise my g-gftr as a youth in his teens. I am grasping at
straws in hopes some connection may come out of the Morris/Riddle
relationship.
