Bolin Green Morris made me think of "Bowling Green" - which is a town in
Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois (at least) and surely comes from when they
actually bowled (with pins and a ball) out on a "green" or flat pasture.

Then as I read along, your "Gene" Morris seems to be named after Eugene V.
Debs (Eugene Victor Debs 1855-1926) who was very involved in the labor
movement and socialism. He was from Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana and
you can read about him in most encyclopedias.

You were probably already aware of all this, but I decided to write, just
in case! Thanks,
David Kent Coy in Decatur, Illinois
