Hi Carol. The William Greene Morris is the son of William Morris which
you are asking about. I have been working on the extensive genealogy which
I have been locating through other Descendents and Ancestors. William
Greene Morris was born between 1804-1806 in either TN. or NC. He did marry
Charlotte Hunter born between 1803-1811. They married Nov. 27, 1833. The
Father -William Morris was born abt. 1736 and died 1806. I worked on this
for Rev. Bill Johnson of Ill. and I have appprox 20 pages of material for
starters- then just the other day I came across another 119 pages of
Genealogy which begins with John Haton Morris -born in NC in 1743. I
located further material which connected Robert Morris - the signer of the
Declaration of Independence with this Genealogy and I am related to these
folks too.. There is a very large Genealogy of Robert, Lewis, Thomas and
William and then the rest of this family. J. Montgomery Seaver's Book on
the History and Genealogy of the Morris Family is what started me off on
this part of my search. Several other relatives have been interested in
this info besides Bill and Ruth Johnson. I am working on posting the
material which I did not have before into my Data Base. If you are
interested, I will send the 119 data base to you and also locate my other
material too. I will have to send it in sections. Let me know where you
are in relationship to the rest of the data and perhaps we can work on this
material. There are many others who might be interested too. Bye for
tonight. I live on the East Coast of Canada in New Brunswick and I have
been working on the computer for almost all of the last 9-10 hrs except for
food times. Sincerely Yours, Paul
Morris Hilton.
