Mathilda A. 'Tilly' Grass

A funeral will be held Wednesday, November 16th, 2005 for 83-year-old Mathilda A. "Tilly" Grass of Ste. Genevieve who died Saturday, November 12th at Ste. Genevieve Care Center.

She was born January 11th, 1922 in Bremen, Germany, the daughter of Wolfgang and Adelaide (Knief) Boetticher, who both preceded her in death.

She married Norman H. Grass Sr. on December 18th, 1946. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include: three sons and two daughters in law, Norman H. and Brenda Grass and David V. and Paula Grass all of Cape Girardeau and Frank X. Grass of Brewer; two daughters and sons in law, Katie and Roberto de Acuna of Panama and Adelaide and Leon Schilly of Ste. Genevieve; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A sister, Erika, also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 15th at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 83-year-old Mathilda A. "Tilly" Grass of Ste. Genevieve will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 16th at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Daniel Mosley will officiate.

Burial will be in the Valle Spring Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or to Masses.
