Have you tried Iron Co., Missouri for the Suttons? My daughter's-in-law
family includes both Sutton and Huff and my son has been researching some of
them in Iron Co., Missouri. We just transcribed Cove Cemetery outside of
Ironton, in Iron Co., Missouri. I will send the transcription to you
privately. It includes some Suttons, but do not know if it includes any
that will do you any good, certainly hope it does.

Hello, I just joined and wanted to post and ask a few questions.

I am seeking info on William Sutton and Hannah Duff. They were married St
Francois county in 1832. They lived on the "Old Sutton Farm" located 8 1/2
miles west of Bismarck and 2 miles east of Caledonia. They had a large
family. The farm must have been large as 40 acres of it were given to the
youngest son when they died. A 2 room log home was built on the land. They
moved from the area around 1895. They went to Grandin Missouri after they
left.

I have had great difficulty finding any marriages for these children. I just
know about Andrew because he is our line. Don't know the marriage date.

This family is found on the Washington co. census for 1860 and 70. I have
not located them on the 1880 census yet. Can anyone tell me what area or
where the farm may have been located. I have no concrete evidence of this
farm as of yet. Any info will be more than what I have, which isn't a lot.
Jennie and Andrew had at least 6 children while living in this area. Hope
