Hi Cousin,
I have a question for you....
Is Margaret J. Ketcherside, the wife of Henry Nash born 1827, brother of my
Claiborne "Clabe" Nash?
I have found information that they called her "Aunt Peggy Nash", and that
she was a mid-wife in St. Francois County.
Now, for some more information.....
I have been in touch with Steve Topping, St. Louis. Steve is the Grandson
of Lillie Nash and Jacob Topping.
Lillie is the daughter of Marvin Lee Nash, son of John and Hannah Nash.
Steve tells me that the NASH Cemetery is north of Bonne Terre, off of Old
Hwy. 67. It is on private property. He said he would be happy to show any
of us where this cemetery is located, and that he found a logging road that
runs almost beside it, which makes it easier to get to.
Did I send you Steve's phone number? Are you interested in taking a look at
this cemetery. Steve tells me there are about 30 Nash family members buried
there, and that he is fairly sure that we will find John and Hannah Nash and
Amanda and Claiborne "Clabe" Nash, all resting there.
Hope you have a wonderufl week-end.
Hugs,
Joyce
