ODIS E. ROGERS

Odis Edwin Rogers, son of the late James and Mary Rogers, was born June 14,
1892 at Mine La Motte and passed away on Friday, Jan. 29 at the age of 67
years, seven months and 15 days.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at the Adamson-Webb
Funeral Chapel with burial in the Mine La Motte cemetery, the Rev. Leland
Buckner officiating.

He was united in marriage to Dovey Watts on Feb. 19, 1911 and to this union
four children were born. Survivors include his wife and four children, Mrs.
Leona Howell and Mrs. Elwilla Bridges, both of St. Louis, Mrs. Virginia
Thompson and Vernon Rodgers, both of Fredericktown.

He also leaves four sisters: Mrs. Hattie LaChance, Leadwood; Mrs. Bessie
Head, Flat River; Mrs. Hazel Montgomery, Calendonia [sic]; and Mrs. Gertrude
Kennon, Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, Leo Roger, Mine La Motte, ten
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
