I am sorry, but her (Lorraine Cates) information is NOT CORRECT, if she is
showing Gilly Ann Patterson, and Johnson "Jonce" Nash's, marriage as being
in 1936, with Gilly Ann, being 80 years of age.

Gilly Ann Patterson, daughter of John William Patterson and Elizabeth
"Eliza" Nash, was born July 4, 1856. Gilly Ann Patterson married Johnson
"Jonce" Nash
between the years of 1870 and 1875, we believe about 1870. They were the
parents of six (6) children:

Rosanna Nash born March 11, 1876
Marcellia Nash born August 27, 1883
Mack E. Nash born March 8, 1887
Floyd L. Nash, Sr. born May 25, 1890
Walter Earl Nash born August 23, 1892
Zeno Clinton Nash born September 24, 1895

Johnson "Jonce" Nash, was born December 21, 1852, and died December 14,
1935. He is buried in the Iron Mountain Cemetery, St. Francois County,
Missouri.

Gilly Ann (Patterson) Nash, died March 13, 1946, and is also buired in the
Iron Mountain Cemetery, St. Francois County, Missouri.

Gilly Ann Patterson, can be found living with her Grandmother (Louvina), and
her second husband, Richard M. Pierce, on the 1860 US Census Record, for
Noble Twp., Richland County, Illinois. Louvina was married to William Nash,
before Richard M. Pierce.

William and Louvina Nash, are my Great Great Grandparents. They were the
parents of five (5) children:

Henry Nash born 1827
Elizabeth "Eliza" Nash born 1832 (Gilly Ann's Mother)
Claiborne Nash born 1835 (my Great Grandfather)
James Nash born 1837
Mary Nash born 1838

If you have any further information on the Patterson line, I would love to
have it. I have not been able to trace John William Patterson, beyond his
birth year of 1822, in Kentucky (this was found on a Census Record), and his
and Elizabeth "Eliza" Nash's marriage date of, November 25, 1854, in
Richland County, Illinois.
