Howard Stokes
DESLOGE - Howard Stokes, 88, of Desloge, passed away December 4, 2006, at
Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington. He was born October 22,
1918, in Pryor Creek, Okla. He was a member of the Church of God on Houser
Street; and a U.S. Navy Korean War Veteran.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Henry and Dora Stokes; wife, Wilma
(Sebastian) Stokes; son, Ronald Stokes; four brothers, two sisters,
granddaughter, Tionna Parker and grandson, Joshua.

He is survived by: three sons: Larry Stokes and wife Nancy Sue of Festus,
Dennis Stokes and wife Ina of Farmington and Robert Stokes and wife Valerie
of Bonne Terre; daughters, Janet (Mrs. Lindell) Kitchell of Desloge, and
Betty Modina of Desloge; daughter-in-law, Darlene Stokes of Park Hills; 19
grand-
children, 33 great-grandchildren, and a number of great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 p.m., Friday, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in
Desloge. Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with
Rev. Howard Kitchell officiating. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
