From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, 2 Oct 1893, p. 2:
"LEONARD -- On Sunday, Oct. 1, at 12:30 p.m., CATHERINE LEONARD, beloved
mother of Thos. P. and Sarah Leonard, Mrs. Arthur Green, Mrs. W. H. O'Connell
and Mrs. Catherine McMahon, after a lingering illness, in the 46th year
of her age.

Funeral will take place from family residence, No. 812 Rutger street, on
Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m., to St. Vincent's Church, thence to Calvary
Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend.

Peirce City (Mo.) papers please copy."

Note: I believe that Catherine Leonard's maiden name may have been Kenedy
or Kennedy. She was the widow of James Leonard.
