The women who were nicknamed Daisy in my family tree were Marys. The "Dictionary of First Names" states that it is a common nickname for Margaret. "Derived from St. Margherita of Italy, who took the daisy (flower) as her symbol." Maybe Grace's middle name is Margaret or Marguerite.
