I am trying to trace the decendants of my GG-Grandfather William McGAUGHEY's brother James McGAUGHEY, b. c1860 in Ireland, d. May 1940. James worked for the railroad in St. Louis for many years. Hannah, James daughter was born in 1907 in Missouri. In 1930 Hannah was working a stenographer for the telephone company. A Hannah BURKE is cited as informant on the death certificate of her mother Selina in 1950. I have no given name or information other than BURKE for her spouse but hope someone may recognize the McGAUGHEY names anyway. The Social Security death index shows a Hannah BURKE, born Apr 1907 and having died in Apr 2001 in St. Louis, MO. Her last known residence was in the 63111 area code. I am hoping to connect with someone from her family if they are interested in family history. Thank you.
