Hi - I'm looking for an obituary for William S. Holt, who would have died in November, 1874. He was my gg-grandfather, & died under unknown circumstances. He was married at the time to Frances (Fanny) Lewis Holt, & they lived in St. Louis City. He died less than a month after his daughter (my g-grandmother), was born. The family Bible my sister has simply reads: William S. Holt, b. 1838, Philadelphia, PA, d. 1874, Texas. There is a Texas Township in Illinois, where some of the Lewis extended family lived (a little northeast of Springfield), so it could be there, but I'm hoping you can find something.
