I recently acquired a box of newspaper clippings that included the following clippings, from the Cumberland, Maryland, "Times-News," hand dated 3/11/1969

"Herbert Moyers - Petersburg - Herbert E. Moyers, 60, of Cabins, died yesterday at Garrett Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Grant County, he was a son of the late George and Pearl (Watts) Moyers.
Surviving are five sisters, Mrs Margie McBride, Hagerstown; Mrs. Virginia Hesson and Mrs. Pauline Bohyer of Pennsylvania; Flossie Moyers of Ohio and Mabel Moyers, Paw Paw; three brothers, Julius Moyers, Charleston; Mervin Moyers of Arizonia, and Snowden Moyers of Ohio.
The body is at the Schaeffer Funeral Home where friends will be received after 7 p.m. today."

"Moyers Service - Petersburg - A service for Herbert E. Moyers, 60, of Cabins, who died Tuesday, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Cabins Assembly of God Church. Rev. Joseph Eversole will officiate and interment will be in the Riggleman Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church a half-hour prior to the service.
The body is at the Schaeffler Funeral Home, where friends will be received today."
