My husband's family were in Mississippi before the Civil War and probably after it also. His great-grand father was Joshua Waldrup--married to Harriet Naron. Joshua fought in the Civil War--was captured and kept in a Union prison (we don't know where). We are rather new to geneaology---have been attempting to locate where Joshua is buried. Through the years we have heard mentioned places re: Duck Hill, Indianola and Winona. Thanks for any help. Margaret
