Yes, that's the one.....There are 3 generations of John Palmers though. In
fact all three are living in the same household in 1870 Corinth, Alcorn Co.,
MS.
It is the daughter of John S. Palmer (age 37 in 1870) we can't seem to find
after the 1868 divorce of her parents. They are found in Jackson, Madison
Co. TN in 1860. Martha is then 8 years old. She may have gotten married
around that time. I don't know.
The older John L. Palmer (age 64 in 1870) also had a daughter named Martha.
She married Hensley Z. Stegall in 1867 Alcorn, MS.
