Hinds County Gazette

Mary, Stanton, a respected colored
woman and an old resident, while
apparently in good health and attending
to her duties, fell dead in the Hunter
House, kitchen, Tuesday morning.
“Aunt” Mary was 73 years old and
has lived here something like fifty
years. A jury of inquest was ---
