JORDAN

Mrs. Norma Jean Jordan, 63, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away May 10, 2008,
in Ocean Springs, Miss. She was born May 8, 1945, in Pascagoula, Miss. Norma
Jean was the beloved wife of the late J.W. Jordan.
She was also preceded in death by her father, Jose Luis Alpizar, and
stepfather, Wade Maples.

Norma Jean was considered our family's rock. She was the glue that held our
family together and the family's blessing was her ability to convey the true
meaning of unconditional love.

Norma Jean was loved by many. She also loved cooking. She spread her love
through cooking, and always having an open heart and home for the many she
loved. She also loved her church, Safe Harbor United Meth-odist Church.

Norma Jean is survived by her mother, Annie Lee Wynne of Moss Point; her
children, Alisha (Billy) O'Bannon of Grand Bay, Ala., Stacey (Gina) Jordan of
Ocean Springs, Miss., Stanley (Darlene) Jordan of Escatawpa, Miss., Tonia
(Bruce) Lynd of Moss Point; and stepson, Kenny Jordan of Pascagoula.

She is also survived by 13 siblings, Shirley (Leroy) Spoor of Maumelle,
Ark., Alicia (Tony) Pierce of Bryant, Ark., Luis (Georgia) Alpizar of Orlando,
Fla., Teresa (Jim) Ward of La Center, Wash., Wade (Nilda) Maples of Alice,
Texas, Marsha (Ronney) McLemore of Forts Lake, Miss., Rachel Furrer of Little
Rock, Ark., Rebecca (Mike) Albritton of Pascagoula, Flint Maples of Moss Point,
Donna (Steve) Anderson of Bryant, Ark., Kathy (Steve) Hester, Warren Maples
and Willie (Tina) Wynne, all of Moss Point; 10 grandchildren, Thomas (Caroline)
Miller, Candice (Brannon) Harrington all of Grand Bay, Ala., Kris Jordan,
Sumar (Lee) Coleman, John Michael Jordan all of Moss Point, Jordan Evans of
Grand Bay, Bruce Lynd Jr., John Lynd, Shelby Jordan and Brendon Green all of
Moss Point; 10 great-grandchildren, numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
and a great host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, May 13, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
at Safe Harbor United Methodist Church, 12000 Miss. 63, in Escatawpa.

The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Tom Potter and the
Rev. Gene Vance officiating.
Interment will be at Orange Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her six grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce
Lynd Sr., Billy O'Bannon, Lee Coleman and Brannon Harrington.

Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, is in charge of
arrangements.
