Hello,

Been noticing all the activity so there must be a lot of you interested in Claibrone County.

My Great Grandfather was G W "Wash" Johnston. I have been tracking him for a long time. He moved to Brandywind District near Clarks Creek in the Mid 1870's and lived there until his death in 1901. I have been able to find info on his step children the William Holders and others. He was married to Colon Holder and they both are buried in Herlong Cemetery. Also their daughter Susane Elizabeth Johnston. I visited the Cemetery in January 2002.

I would like to know if anyone has any info on the Johnstons. I have found out quiet a bit from the Holder's descendants. I would like to have some infor on the last 30 years of his life if anyone has info.

Your help is appreciated in advance.
