Thanks to you all, we now have James L. IRBY on the 1850, 1870, 1880, 1900 -
1930 Censuses.
Allen IRBY m. Mary DRURY 1835 Claiborne Co., MS. I am going on Allen & Mary
"Polly" Drury IRBY being the parents of James L. since the research leads me
to that direction.
Allen IRBY bought land in Claiborne Co., MS, 1 June 1859.
The 1860 census is hidding the family of James L. IRBY from me. Can someone
help unhide this family??
From the 1870 census, Mary was a widow.
Even if Allen died between the land buy in 1859 and the 1860 census, Mary
and some children should be listed.
I will have to check to see if he served during the Civil War. He was out
of the picture by the 1870 census.
