Hello Everyone,
I am Burline Watkins, living in SC now but originally from Attala Co. MS. I am searching for info on my g-grandfather's family. He was married as a Chappell in 1879, after living with the Jesse Matthew Chappell family in the late 1860's and early 1870's. Family recollections has it that he and a twin brother, Obediah were born to a family named Woolam. They were said to have had a brother Frank who retained the Woolam name. My mother recalls an Emmett Woolam visiting her mother and my mother thinks he was a cousin of her mother. May have been Franks son?

The reason I wanted to join your list is the finding of a Frank Woolam of Franklin Co. marrying a Gillie Whittington in the early 1900's. It is a small chance but one of the few I' ve come across in all my searches.
