Looking for information on Marthey Holland listed on 1880 Itawamba census
with three daughters and widowed. I believe she was the wife of Robert H.
Holland, son of Charles Girdner Holland. I believe her maiden name was Branch but
according to family history she is also suppose to be Full Cherokee.

I am not familiar with how to research your indian heritage, so any help here
would be appreciated. Was there a reservation in Itawamba or near by?

Also wondering if Marthey was short for Martha.

Also researching Parham & Harris...William Crawford Parham and wife Elizabeth
W. Harris.
