The Following information is furnished for the upcoming
OCTOBER 5TH, 2000, (Thursday) meeting of the Ocean Springs Genealogical
Society, Inc..

The Genealogy Class for Beginners and intermediate researchers will be
held in the front meeting room of the Ocean Springs Library, Dewey Ave.,
Ocean Springs, Ms. The Class will start at 6:30 PM 7 Sep 2000, end at
7:15 PM
SUBJECT: HOW TO RECORD INFORMATION IN GENEALOGY PROGRAMS
HOW TO RECORD SOURCE DOCUMENTATION
A DISCUSSION ON COMPUTERIZED SCRAPBOOK AND BOOKS VERSUS NOTEBOOK TYPE
SCRAPBOOKS.

PROGRAMS for October and November meetings are being reversed due to
scheduling problems.

NOVEMBER 2ND: "Capt. Grant & Allied Families" - Harold Grant, PhD
OCTOBER 5TH: "Swetman & Allied Families" - William McGowan

The regular meeting will commence at 7:30 PM. The Special Program for
October 2000 will be presented by William McGowan.
