6 children. I descend from Edward who mar Sarah Davis and Sarah Harwell.
Martha Ora child of Sarah Davis mar William Bluford (Tobe) Shoemaker
Their child: Walter Henry Shoemaker mar Lillie Mae Read
They had 9 children, 5 still living, one of which is my mother.

who married Cicero Lamkin HATTEN, parents of my maternal grandmother, Ethel

There's more information below.? The first part being from a FAMILY TREE
MAKER website pages of descent from our LARRIMORE/LAREMON descent from
Edward LARRIMORE which I've shown a little bit of the beginning section and
then a little from the section applying directly to Hiram, Calendar, and
Annis and then followed by some more connecting information from an earlier
post of mine.

We have WALKER - JEFFERSON lineage that was long believed to have been from
the Samuel WALKER who married Martha Jefferson BELL but it is another Samuel
WALKER and a Martha JEFFERSON both from the very same time period and
location in Edgefield District, South Carolina.?
?
There are also connecting WALKER families that probably lend clues as to
precisely our group of WALKERs but still trying to put it all together while
there may be some people who already know that info.

Also, there are, apparently, many McDANIEL family connections with my Nancy
SPRADLEY's sister, Caroline SPRADLEY, having married a William McDANIEL, as
shown in the excerpt from Patsy HUGHES below followed by other connecting
information.

Hello. I'm descended from WALKER lineage through one of the Samuel WALKER,
(RS,) men in 1700s South Carolina that we are still trying to sort out. He
is married to a Martha JEFFERSON that was thought by many of us to have been
Martha Jefferson BELL who, also, married a Samuel WALKER, (RS.)
My Samuel BELL, (RS,) and Martha JEFFERSON had a daughter named Sarah
WALKER, born: 1795 in Edgefield District, South Carolina, died: 1877 in
Jasper
County, Mississippi, that married Alford McCARTY and their family group was
later in Jasper County, Mississippi and Winn Parish, Louisiana and is
connected
with other WALKERs that may or may not be directly related including one
family group that has a Littleberry/Little Berry WALKER and is descended
from
BERRY and BUSH families as well. This Littleberry/Little Berry WALKER was
born
in 1823 and married Louvinia/Lavinia SLATER and this Littleberry/Little
Berry
WALKER was the son of Charity BERRY, (d/o German BERRY,) and Willis WALKER,
born: Abt. 1795 in Edgefield District/County, South Carolina, died: Bef.
October 1850 probably in Simpson County, Mississippi, who was the son of
Charity BUSH and (Rev.) Francis Marion WALKER, (who also was married to
Elizabeth WEATHERSBY,) and Francis was born in 1758 in Toaping Castle,
Prince George's County, Maryland, died: March 11, 1846 in Silver Creek,
Westville, Simpson County, Mississippi, son of Elizabeth STUART and Isaac
WALKER, Sr., born: 1721 in Maryland, died: Bef. May 24, 1807 in Prince
George's County, Maryland.
The aforementioned Willis WALKER was the brother of a Henry WALKER, born:
1802 in Edgefield County, South Carolina, died: 1848 in Simpson County,
Mississippi, who married Annis McCARTY, born: September 06, 1796 in
Edgefield
District, South Carolina, died: Bet. 1866-1870 in either Wayne County,
Mississippi or Simpson County, Mississippi. Henry WALKER's wife, Annis
McCARTY, was the sister of the aforementioned Alford McCARTY, (children of

I don't know that this Littleberry/Little Berry WALKER's family group is the
same as yours and while the name of Littleberry was not as unusual back
then, for some reason, than it is now it would seem highly probable that
this is
the same family group. I show that this Isaac WALKER, Sr., (at least in the
records that I have,) had 2 brothers named Charles WALKER and Nathan WALKER

Cyndi, Wanda, other "cousins" from Jasper County: Anyone have
information on Annis McCarty who married William Craven Hinton? There were
my ggrandparents. Daughter Inez Hinton married Jethro Simmons. I think
this Annis McCarty (there were several) is daughter of Simpson McCarty and
Mahala Redd -- but no proof. Anyone have proof? Thanks for your help.
