We acknowledge the receipt of a slice of the delicious wedding cake, for
which we return many thanks. The press joins in with the many friends of
this happy couple in wishing them a life of unalloyed happines.

This issue of the Press is one of the most interesting that has ever greeted
the eye of the local patronizer, inasmuch as some things it contains will be
a startling revelation to almost every man in the county. Aside fomr this,
it is entirely free from editorials.

A good many locals crowded out for want of space.

Between rains, hot days and mass meetings we are havine what you might call
a "monkey and parrot time."

Saturday to spend a while with her aunt in Columbia, Mrs. Johnnie D. Soles.
