David Hunt is mentioned in previous response I sent back to list with "David
Hunt, a Rodney Planter
and probably the richest man in Mississippi". He is also mentioned next
page "The first building for public
worship built by the twin congregations was located in the rear of the
plantations of Smith Hubbard and James M Batchelor. The leaders in the new
work were David Hunt, John Boll, Smith Hubbard, Dr. Rush Nutt,
John Murdock, Sr., M McClutchy, and Mathew Bolls". Send me your snail mail
address and I will be glad
to send you a copy plus two pages of research notes (typed) on the church
that were my grandfathers.
