I might have a lead for your person MCCaa. Go the FamilyTreeMaker and see
a will of my 3rd g-grandfather, Joshua Saxon posted on the SAXON furname
board. I posted it back in February 2000. One of the witnesses was a John
F. McCaa/McCaan. I was not familiar with the last name and really cannot
say if it is McCaa or McCaan. They were in Claiborne Co., MS. in 1817
where my ancestor wrote his will and then died. They had come from
Livingston Co., Ky by way of Laurens District, SC to this area in MS.
Maybe you can look there. Let me know.
