According to the OUR BALDRIDGE FOREBEARS by Dr. Chester Kennedy
Jimmerson (Jamieson, Jimmerson)Liddell married Martha Ann Baldridge on 26 Sep
1836. They had 10 children fdating from 1838 to 1859.
She was the dau of James Baldridge and Mary "Molly" Stampley
Martha Ann married the second time in 1858 to Thomas C. Brown
Jimmerson born 18 Apr 1800 and died 11 Aug 1856. There is a Masonic emblem
on his tombstone. He was a member of the Lodge #56 in Rodney in 1843 &
1844bv He is buried in the Bethel Church Cememtery along with several of his
and Martha's children ... and Martha and Dr. Brown and one of their children.
Gayden B. Peteet, 719 Grand Blvd, Greenwood, MS 38930 has a Liddell in his
family. His family comes from SC and ends in Carroll Co., MS ... check with
this person, you never can tell.
There is a Liddell - Hackler cemetery in Jefferson County ... but these dates
are after your Jimmerson.
Liddell is not an uncommon name in Mississippi. Send me your snail mail
address and I will send you a copy of the Liddell's in the index of the Ms
Bible and Cemetery records.
Which of the his and Martha's children do you descend from? (How is that for
how english is spoke?)
Ann Brown
