Cuz Linda is probably just as much an expert on the GUICE line as Cuz Hobbs.<g>
The question about Ruth (or for that matter her sister Sinor who married Thomas
Clawson) parents is a tough one. The only CATOR I have been able to find is in
the 1820 Jefferson County census is on page 291 and he is, William and his
surname in the census is clearly spelled CATER. He does not appear in earlier
Jefferson County censuses in 1805 or 1810, the 1792 Spanish Census, or Natchez
Court Records by May Wilson McBee.
