My 4th great grandmother, Mary BARFIELD was born abt. 1779 in NC, married William CURTIS abt. 1797 in Spanish LA. William died in Jefferson Co. in 1833 and I suppose Mary died there also, but I don't know when. I was told that there were BARFIELDs in early Natchez Dist. Does anyone know who Mary's father was?
