Just some back ground information:

My Name : Pamela Huff Dansie
father: Rayford J Huff
grandmother: Artie Ola Smith Huff
great grandmother: Lucy Selman Smith
(sister to William Walter Selman)
great great grandparents: William F Selman and Emerline Byrd Selman
(William F Selman was 68 on the Jefferson County Census in 1880 and Emerline was only 26 ) William F Selman died before these children were very old. I don't think they even remembered him.

William Walter Selman married Alice Humphries the younger sister to States Trevillion.
Margaret daughter of Emerline Byrd Selman Weaver*(on the 1900 Jefferson County Census, Mississippi) married States Trevillion between 1900 and 1910> they are on the
Jefferson County Census 1910 District 70 Beat 1 page 32 or 34 ( in that area), The same page has John Thomas Trevillion age 50 just above States. States and Margaret Trevillion moved to Tensas Parish, my parents remember visiting with them in the early 1960's.

Walter and Alice moved to Texas, Red River County.

Phillip B Trevillion -m- Matilda Rogillio 10 Mar 1856 Jefferson County Mississippi
Children; Alice, Hiram, States, Thomas on census 1860 and 1870

In the 1870 Census page 17 and 18 ; Matilda had married ? Humphries and on the census I can't read the name: children: Alice 13, Hiram 8, States 10, Thomas 12, last name Trevillion. The other children: Joanna 3, Josephine 4, last name Humphries.

1880 Jefferson County Census: Matilda Humphries 47, Joseph 13, Joanna Ennice 12, Catherin E 89, Pearl 8, Eva C 4, Alice 2,*( this is the Alice that married William Walter Selman) Thomas Trevillion 22, States Trevillon 20.
