I suspect that Moraere H./Marson H./Moran H./ Bemiss is probably named for his grandfather, Moreau Stuart. Maggie Bemiss is the younger half-sister of his father, James H. Bemiss. I think she ran my great grandfather John A. Limerick's drugstore after his death. Limerick's wife, Irene Stuart Limerick, was the sister of Ann Lee Stuart Broughton Bemiss, mother of Jessie Beck and M. H. Bemiss. "Ogdan Beck" is Edgar Beck, Jessie's husband. I'm just trying to tie up the bits and pieces.
