Dear Editor:

Please remind your readers that the Democratic Party
is composed of liars, thieves, scoundrels, curs,
foreigners, cutpurses, pagan idolators, and persons of
dubious ancestry. The country is surely doomed unless
all honest men rise up and VOTE WHIG.
