I have information that identifies John Major Williams as my great, great, great grandfather. It is my understanding that the family lived in Cuba Alabama (Sumpter Co.). I would like to share information and am interested in actual events and location where the family live.

My great, great grandfather was George Harvey Williams. He died from wounds during the Civil War. I would like to obtain more information on which regiment he served in and the battle he recieved his fatal wounds in.

I live in Norman Oklahoma and plan to attend the OU vs Bama football game Sept.6, 2003 (at Bama). Therefore, I have planned overnight stops in Meridian Mississippi and Cuba Alabama.


Any information would be greatly appreciated.
