Sometime in the last quarter of the 1800s, Winnifred Gammill Jackson migrated from Chambers County, AL with her son William "Bud" Jackson, along with his family, to the Meridian area.
A family group photograph taken in the early 1890s was made at Central Art Gallery, 403 23rd Ave., Meridian. Another old photo taken in the early 1900s, shows the Jackson family posed in front of a nice old farm home that is believed to be somewhere between Meridian and Philadelphia.
Winnifred Gammill Jackson was born January 1, 1828 and lived to be 90 years old. She died and is buried in either Lauderdale or Neshoba County along with her son William "Bud" Jackson, and his wife Lucy McClendon Jackson.
I am trying to locate the cemetery where these Jacksons are buried. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
