The Rodgers Families were of the Pine Springs Community, Meridian,
Lauderdale County Mississippi. Mary Rodgers, Jimmie's mother was a good friend of my
grandmother. Do you have the book"The First Hundred Years of the Pine
Springs Community of Lauderdale County, Mississippi. ' written by Mary Ellen New
White?
This is an excellent piece of literature. All the families of the community
are in this book. You can purchase this book from the Lauderdale County
Department of Archives and History for $25 and some change should you not have the
book.
There are scores of Rodgers families in this book.. too many for me to to
write in an e- mail. Surely you can find the answer to you questions within its
covers. There are the James Rodgers' found in the book also.

This will take you to the LCDAH site with instructions how to order from them
.
My families are from the Pine Springs Community also. Many of the residents
I have heard of all my life growing up and the information i knew of them is
the same as in this book.. So I feel that the information there in has to be
correct.
I hope this will help you in your research..
