Melba, I am very much interested in your comment regarding a connection to the Meredith Price family in Lauderdale County, MS. I am trying to sort through the Price families in Lauderdale County in the 1840-1860's to see if there might be a kinship/connection to my GGrandfather, William M. Price who married my GGrandmother, Martha Ann Pelt in Lauderdale County in 1842. William M. is my brickwall on my Price line, but I have good reason (that I will be happy to share with you) to think he was close kin (not child) to one James M. Price who along with Meredith Price was in Lauderdale County, MS in the 1840-1850's. If you can help me with more info on the Meredith Price family and/or if you are interested in more of my thinking/information on theses Price lines, will be glad to share/chat with you.
