am looking for infor re:my gggrandfather who served in the 2nd
battalion MS infantry during the Civil War. I believe he
enlisted with Captain Blewetts Boys in Lowndes county MS.
His name was Peter Kautenberger and he migrated to Michigan sometime after the war and died in GR Mi in 1901.
