Looking for any information on Robert S. Sanders b. July 1837 TN? d. 1907
Lafayette Co., MS. Enlisted Co. E, 1st Regt. (Johnston's) Miss. Inf. C.S.A.
June 24, 1861 at Pleasant Mt. (later changed to Mount Pleasant) located
in Marshall Co., MS. He somehow ended up in Co. I of the 34th Regt. Miss.
Inf. Was captured Nov 24, 1863 in the battle of Lookout Mt., TN. Sent to
Rock Island, IL prison. Any help appreciated.
