A book on Marshall County probate records shows the following; "Will of
Josiah Shipp of Hinds county Miss. bequeaths to Mary McClanaham and her
children Felix G. Shipp, Bartlett Ship, Martin Shipp, Eurll Shipp, Morilla
Mathews,Elisa Shipp and Harriet Shipp; Witnesses;Jacob Matthews, Jacob
Ship dated Nov.3,1833" - - In another section is a listing "Will of Bartlett
Shipp, wife and children mentioned but not named. Brother M. W. Shipp;
Executor-Dr. R. M. Glover, Witnesses Elija Bodly and John B. Armistead.
Dated Oct 8,1852 probated Nov. 1852." Based on this the M.W.Shipp mentioned
as Bartlett's brother appears to be the same as the Martin mentioned above
which would make Josiah and Mary his parents. Hope this helps a little.
