Hi,

I am looking for the JONES family from Newton County, MS. Family story is
that family came from the community of Old Hickory.

Celia (Sellie) Elizabeth Jones was born 1863/64, supposedly in Newton
County.
Henry Newton Jones was born April 11, 1855
Jonathan (John) Mathias Jones was born in Scott County on February 18, 1852.

We do not have their father's name, but their Mother was Martha Jones (nee
MATHIS) according to family records.

John's obituary indicates that he left Scott Co. by 1865 for Arkansas,
spending 3 years
there, and then on to Louisiana where he lived and died. I have located
Martha (Jones) House in the 1880 census in Arkansas.
