John Robinson Scott was born in Abbeville, SC c1810. His Father was
Archibald Scott born in Abbeville, SC c 1782. This group moved to Newton County , GA
around 1839. John Robinson Scott married his second wife Permelia Smith about
1854. They had one child. Archibald Alexander Scott. They moved to the
Algoma area of Pntotooc county c 1867. They brought 2 daughters from John Robinson
Scott's first marriage with them. I believe they went there because some of
John's family from SC had gone there much earlier. Would like contact with
anyone from this family.
