Trying to find information on my gg-grandfather Jackson Davis Ward, born
around 1818 or 1820. I have 2 census showing different date's and place.
1850 Itawamba Co., MS, show's him 32, AL and the 1860 Tishomingo Co., MS,
show's him 40, SC.
My best guess is that he is from SC. As for who is parent's are, I am trying
to figure that out. Jackson Davis Ward married Mary A. Bryant and their
children are:
Martin V. Ward born 1844 AL
William Jason Ward born 1846, died 1917 Florida, married 1st, Serina J. b.
1844 AL; 2nd Angeline Millican b. 1845; d 1872
John T. Ward born 1848
Sarah J. Ward born 1851 Tishomingo Co., MS, married George Washington Kizer
Martha E. Ward born 1854 MS
Mary J. Ward born 1856 MS
(NOTE: Martha E. Ward or Mary J. Ward may have married William Jasper Kizer a
brother of George Washington Kizer)
David Franklin Ward (my g-grandfather) born 3/9/186 Tishomingo Co., MS,
married Fannie Anna Wilson, he died 5/15/1926 buried in Acton Co., Tx
cemetery.

On Jackson Ward's confederate pension application it state's that Mary A.
Ward living with her son-in-law W.J. Kizer and signed W. J. Kizer atty. in
fact. Pension state's that she was living in Prentiss County, MS, Postoffice
Marietta, MS, at the time pension was filled out in Sept. 1899.

Does anyone have any information on these Ward's or have any connection?

Thanks,
Karen Ward Jones
