Can anyone help me with this couple?:

Mary "Polly" Gordon b. Dec 01, 1801 in Natchez m. Abner Gibson on Jul
03, 1822 in Jefferson Co., MS? I have often wondered if her father was
John Gordon, surveyor from Adams Co., MS. Does anyone have a list of
his children? Family tradition says Polly's mother was a "Diereck" (I'm
don't know the spelling?)

Abner Gibson doesn't seem to be one of the Port Gibson clan. I think
he's from Loudoun Co., VA
