Hey there, My Brown are Willis Brown [On the 1900 Lawrence county he is
listed as Wilburn] but all family members say he was called Willis. I don't
know
much about him, he is our brick wall, but his wife was Elizabeth Savannah
Barron
[she was kin to Jessie James, [the outlaw] Jessie James's mother was a
Barron. Still working on this.
Willis and Savannah was in Mississippi and three children were born there,
do
not know the co. Also there were two children who died there.
My grandfather took his family back to Mississippi when my father was 17yr.
old. Grandfather's name was John Clifton brown, they were in Bay, Arkansas
when
the flood came in 1927.
I have worked on this and had to lay it aside, cannot find them on the
census
in Mississippi, but know they were there. Faye in Al.
