I am seeking info on African American families (Collins & Brumfield) who apparently were slaves owned by a "Bert" Brumfield in Walthall Co., MS. I believe there might be a connection with the family name I am searching for. The name is Davis Collins Brumfield, Sr. Also looking for a Zeriviah Collins Brumfield. Thanks for your help.
