Dear group,

Thanks to everyone for their replies to my Olson/Olsen posting! My original
posting was indeed hasty and in the meantime I've also learned more
information that I'll include.

I am working on a project to help a friend identify his grandmother's family
[of 6 siblings] who migrated from Norway to Montana. I have identified a
family living in Norway that I am 95% sure is the exact same family.......
now I need collaboration.

I have the census entries from 1900 and 1910 for two of the siblings: Christ
Olson who lived at Jefferson county and Christina (Olson) Mattice at Lewis &
Clark county. But I know nothing about the other four. Any help is very
appreciated!

Ivan Nichols

1. Ole Olson
Birthdate: 14 March, 1878 (born Ola)
Living in Norway in 1900.....in USA before 1913

Birthdate: 22 April, 1875 (born Johan)
Married: 28 March, 1908 with Olena, who was born in Norway on 22 April, 1877
Emigrated 1898?

3. Justene (Olson) Nord
Birthdate: 29 March, 1869 Norway (born Ane Justine)
Married name pronounced 'Nord'
Emigrated 1892 with husband Ole Nord

4. Kirsten Regine (Olsen) Nilsen
Birthdate: 1881 Norway
Emigrated 1892
Married name pronounced 'Nilsen' (maybe Nelson/Nielson etc.?)
[In the family burial plot of sibling Christina (Olson) Mattice at Helena
is: Nelson, Louis L. - born 1860 in Sweden; died March, 1923; last residence
was Helena - could he have been her husband???]
